David Carson's Bio

Dave Carson has proven he is deeply committed to the City of Dunedin.  As a former President of the Dunedin Council of Organizations and former Chairman of the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce, Dave has shown that he can be an effective voice and leader.  Now he looks forward to bringing that same kind of leadership and commitment to the Dunedin City Commission.

Dave has been actively involved in Dunedin for many years.  Following are just a few of the many awards and key positions he has held over the past years:

Dave owns Carson Pest Control, which he operates with his brother Jack. Dave and his wife Martha have been married for 26 years. Martha has been a high school teacher for the past 27 years.
 
As a husband and businessman in Dunedin, Dave Carson knows the issues important to us.  If elected, he promises to 1) work for lower taxes for homeowners while keeping services at the highest level; 2) put the “Penny for Pinellas” income to work improving Dunedin’s infrastructure; 3) ensure that fire, water and sheriff departments are fully equipped to meet the demands of this city; and 4) prioritize a plan to clean the Curlew Creek and Cedar Creek waterways.  Dave Carson…a leader committed to our community.
